Always something to catch your eye, seeing a shark strapped to a pallet in merca Bilbao was a sight to behold.
Saw the deboned carcass of a donkey somewhere - it was rolled up like a swiss roll with the head still attached! Guess that was so so you knew what the meat was

merca madrid ( fish market ) was always interesting skip full of sawfish heads quite alot of live as well ie crabs lobsters etc always lots of activity
A lot of us Brits are squeamish about what we eat,while many other nationalities are less so.These folk eat parts of animals that we turn up our noses at.My local supermarkets here near Alicante used to sell sheeps heads cut in half. And no I didn’t.
