Simon:
It’ll have to be the Bordeaux, Toulouse, turn left at Perpignon route.
Even I might get that sack if that was the way I went!!!

Its been a while since I was in France, and even longer since going to the south, and I was in an autohof on their computer working entirely from (very dodgy) memory assisted by a few alcoholic beverages.
. (Thats my excuse anyway
).
I managed to get a little bit confused between 2 different destinations .
I, of course meant to say, he will have to go the Clermont, Toulouse, Carcassonne and turn left at the coast; route

Still no smilies so I can only assume that you are still on the beverages
Why on earth go anywhere near Toulouse (unless you are a rocket fan) or the coast?
Due south from Clermont to Beziers, then to Carcassonne (D5) and return - simple
.
Better stick to Deutchland Simon, and if I ever go near that country again, I’ll call you or Neil . They tell me you have to pay to drive around there these days
.
Salut, David.
No offence meant to anyone but have you ever seen the Harry Enfield sketch? “You dont wanna do it like that!” ■■

I’ve always said, ask six Euro drivers how to get to anywhere and you will get six different answers and at least four of the six will be feasible.
And before anyone comes back with a reply, I know that to get to anywhere you turn left at somewhere and it is about 14 KM’s down, on the road to nowhere.
Well that is the way I would go anyway.
Orleans from where ever, head south vers CF hang a right 75kms or so?second turn main turn off, keep going and you will end up in toulouse, turn left and you will pass carcasonne(j24 aiprort )beziers keep going and head east at the crossroads of the south, narbonne.
right you lot!!!
clermont fd to beziers on the A75/A9 is the best and fastest route!!!
apart from the A6/ A77 ( i think) over to lyon being the most boring route in the world, it is quite a bit further (i think again, lol) and you dont get to go over the highest bridge in europe either and it is stuning.
and yes i am biased but the run down through the auvergne on the A71/A75 is bloody loverly too, esp on a nice sunny day.
scarryfreic around paris isnt too bad in a wagon even the parisiens wont really argue with a 40toner lol.
just come off the A1 turning left or direction lyon, bordeaux then get of at the A10 for bordeaux then follow orleans then clermont, montellier, then carcossone then bezier, it really is that simple!!!
bonne route
chris
He’s been, and he’s back.
I met him on the ferry this morning (because he retired to bed very early, so I didn’t see him last night).
We travelled part of the way up together, chatting on the CB and during a break. He’s planning on posting a diary of some sort, with photos, over the weekend so I won’t spoil it by telling you anything
, You’ll just have to wait
.
What was he pulling last,logs
