Please read the forum rules on ‘rumours,’ cos your post is sailing very close to the wind.
Would your ‘source’ care to put his name to this, or do you (or anybody else) have a credible link that can be verified please?
From the forum rules:
If you want to post “Gossip” then please ensure it is based on more than " I overheard,"or “a driver told me”, do a little research before making a public statement about a companies position.
If you have some information about a company but cannot verify it, but are convinced it has some element of truth, then you can always Private Message me and I will look into the rumour via Road Transport Media Ltd’s many industry contacts and let you know as soon as possible what I have found out and advise whether it can be posted publicly

I’m never one to challenge authority over petty matters, but I think you’ve either misread the opening post (possibly by subconsciously linking it to posts further down) or you are applying the forums rules incorrectly.
The opening post is about as generic as the phrase “how long is a piece of string”, it provides absoloutely no indication whatsoever of any identifiable individual in either person or corporate forms. It’s like me saying “a man somewhere is comitting adultery”, and you telling me I’m sailing close to the wind because you know of a man who is shagging his secretary!

Hi Gogan,
For exactly the reason you gave, I wrote “sailing very close to the wind,” rather than saying “you’re in breach of forum rules,” or simply locking the post. Therefore, I thought it fair to provide a precautionary reminder for posters.
Whether you, I or anybody else thinks it’s petty isn’t the point, because this site has to be run as per the site owner’s wishes.

Do they share the same name as a brand of cider?
Ken.
I heard that this rumour will stop next month
so the O license for cleveland container services has been approved then
no wonder this jobs in the state it is
This one’s nothing new, it’s been doing the rounds in various forms for months. First it was 22 vehicles in September…Then 16 after Xmas…Blah blah…If nothing else, it gives us all a good chuckle, eh?
I’ll be convinced when somebody puts a link to A’s & D’s so I can read it for myself, but until then it’s all hot air and empty vessels making lots of noise (and gossip.)
if this does come to something, who in there right mind would work for him/them?

Some poor sod who either doesn’t know the history, or does but is absolutely desperate for work or experience.
