Today I went from Ruabon to Jct 16 M6, loaded out of Air Products 26 ton of silica and water, asked other driver who was running the job for best way and he sent me this way A539 - Overton Penley Hanmer A525 Whitchurch A41- A525 -A530 Nantwhich I then picked up signs for A500. seems a bit longwinded to be dragging 26 ton across country lanes etc. Any ideas of a better route or would I be better going round i.e A483 A 55 M56 M6 for what its worth I think it would be easier.

Farm just off jct 16 turn left at shell garage, 1 mile on left down the road, a s**t tip really
You could go A534 from Wrexham to Nantwich then onto the A500 that ain’t a bad road mate 
It’s only 38 mile according to autoroute, why would you want to go all the way round?
Unless you get lost and have to turn round! Ha Ha!
As above either into Wrexham then Nantwich or the way you went originally,going to the m56 M6 will take twice as long.
