Hi just a quick one, are these a decent company to work for or best avoided?

Cant say anything bad about them on the flat stuff if you work hard they wanted that bit extra but don’t any company …
100% by the book the thing that got me was the ring in to let them know where you were parking 
thing is at 5pm you still had running time so couldn’t always say even though you were on tracker 
…
As it was then if on curtains they told you where to park at night that was a right pain…
They have in the last few years bought new kit as I go past the new / last few years trailer park just off the M5 I’ve seen old trailers stripped and new bought in… New Merc Units all good kit.
Pay was always in the bank on time, in Somerset your truck was washed down every other week without fail…
They do a lot of Redland stuff (blocks pavers etc ) odd loads of timber maybe getting more a not many Co’s running flats
Consolidated wines also seen a few running Morrisons out of Bridgewater.
As far as I know its still a family company and own everything outright …
hi not driven for them but i tip them all the time, they do a lot o large reels of paper ,newspaper industry ,a lot of them say the money is crap ? but so do most other drivers 
The lads who come into our yard for Keedwells/R J Jones who they brought out recently there drivers seem happy enough all I know is there paid by the hour I think they pay no worse than any other big outfit and like any other company they seem to like there pound of flesh they seem to be expanding at the moment and buying new kit .
A mate was working for them on curtain siders earlier this year out of Somerset. They said to him in the interview that he’d be back on Friday’s, which he requested as he’s got a family. They kept him out Friday night 4 weeks running so on the 5th week he drove back Friday night empty from up North even though they wanted him to reload and back in on Saturday. He told them to stuff the job. He said the money was alright but didn’t like being lied to in the interview.
Same with a lad in Devizes on DS Smith contract. Poor money and out on Fridays which he had asked specifically if the job would require and they said, no.
I went for interview in Hull
£375 for 50 hours.
I did not bother.

Hi All I am looking at keedwells to they said no probs on Mon - Friday work with poss Saturdays but work week and then home at end of week (some family time as they say) etc so will see I cant say I have heard anything bad though unless anyone can tell me different. 450 for 50 hours ■■
Devizes was/is £370 basic for fifty hours and a tenner a week attendance bonus, as far as I know.
