Roy Gill

Comedy Classic was owned by truck racer Andy Lovenberry of FFR Racing (hence the number plate in that photo above) a few years ago and has since ended up doing the food vans at Chesterton speedway and oval race track.

Roy is alive and getting well again after serious brain tumour. He’s doesn’t run trucks anymore, though he still has the Diana XF which is only used on special occasions. One of his Scania 143’s ’ Twilight Zone’ was recently bought in Ireland by one of Roy’s old drivers, brought back over here and has been fully restored in Roy’s old colours just like it was new.
