I was in 2 minds whether to try and I got here 18.00,it seems deserted ,strange as showers look just about new,get a £10 voucher with your parking

Those were the days - I sometimes visit the docks and think back to when the place used to be jumping, cafe packed out, trucks everywhere, trans-shipment days on Tuesday. Freight leaving by rail then too.
Now it just seems to be a shadow of it’s former self, Frans Maas office gone and weighbridge moved, rail line fenced over.

Was actually in there Thursday night ,about 6 ish then left 6 1sh this morning for tip on docks ,that’s what did suprise me so empty on a thurs night though it did seem to have filled up a fair bit when I got up this morning .

Did think it odd he would be running in on Saturday.
I love it there, as far as “loving” a MSA can go. Massive parking area with huge bays, yes the food is crap but aren’t all MSA’s crap? Prices are a rip-off though, if I didn’t have parking paid for by the company I wouldn’t be stopping there. Come to think of it, the only thing I like about it is the massive parking area.

That stinks of ■■■■ - so not much going for the place ,really. There’s always the pedestrian tunnel that links the westbound with the east…bit of novelty value.

Can’t say I’ve smelt it stinking of ■■■■. Theres one on the M40 where the A43 joins, that reeks there. And north bound Strensham, that hums to high heaven.
And of course the eastbound is so big that the DVSA often set up a command post there taking over half the place for their dipping, tapping and downloading activities.
Dead give away when you see a police motorcyclist leaning against his machine at the bottom of the eastbound slip of the '271 
I had fish,chips,peas,a round of bread and butter and a mug of tea there once.
Cooked fresh by a very pleasant west indian lady,who brought it over to our table.

Plenty goes in to Southampton tho. it don’t normally fill till a little later usually bods waiting for there VBS in the morning . Eastbound usualyl busier as they got there boxes and got out
Was in there a couple of weeks ago.Stopped for some food and a freshen up.Must admit the shower facilities are the best i’ve come across so far.
They’ve put a round sink in the gents bit like you’d find in an engineering works with half a dozen taps in the middle.

Shift has been changed from mon-fri, to tues - sat so do now run in on a Saturday ,strange thing is they changed it then told me fri they had no loads for me saturday 
,told me to find a layby and they’d get back to me ,eventually they found a collection
