BIG MEETING ARRANGED FOR TONIGHT AT 4PM UK TIME RUMOUR HAS IT WE HAVE GOT CONTRACT BACK

With a new contract of employment Neil

  1. All drivers will work for £500 a month & a free tin of polish

  2. All air con will be disabled to save fuel

  3. All drivers will wear U.S. uniform

Seriously - I hope it works out for ya m8, I know I couldn’t do the job, far too hot without any of the other concerns. Besides, we would all lose a work report that we love reading so much

STOP PRESS PART 2

well it turns out that the other companies have put in a complaint about PWC who won contract and that a 60 page report about misdealings about how they got it has been handed into the top brass of the army and therefore they have suspended them until a review has been done.this will probably take at least 3 mths and then they might not be cleared leaving the way for a rebid in which we are favourites.

therefore IAP are in desperate need of drivers as the amount of trucks have now increased.so if you are interested let me know.

Hi Neil picked up on your interesting exploits at the weekend I hope you get your contract renewed. Used to run down there (Iraq,Kuwait & Doha) a few years ago (quite a few) also spent a couple of years in Aden/Muscat. Driving at the moment (HGV1) would be very interested in working for your company can you give me some details?

Welcome to Trucknet, Sandfly

for the drivers that have contacted debbie about the vacancies over here i spoke to her today and the latest is as follows.

currently nobody is able to get the passes needed as they have changed the people that do them and it has gone haywire.even the americans cant get badged nor anyone can get rebadged if theirs run out.she hopes it will be resolved in the next few days.in the meantime she says if you want to email her a copy of your passport, driving licence and short resume she will put them on file also she does not mind you phoning her as she said as soon as passes are resolved you will be on the next available flight out here.

her email addy is djdouglas@iapwws.com

No. Neil is working for the iapwws.com and takes stuff into Iraq and he’s based in Kuwait. If you read the thread from start to finish you’ll fnd out everything you need.

He would need a couple of spare weeks. This post is getting like War and Peace but more interesting and it’s got pictures.  War and Peace hasn’t got pictures, has it ?
