Good timing probably

Going to gordon street wc1h0ay sunday morning (booked for 7:30am). Will be in a full size artic, my guess is 14’6 height, coming from a11 in norfolk

Best way to get there?

I will have my research as well omce get back home

A11 to the end then up Commercial St, up towards Old St then onto the A501.

On google maps it looks actually easier than i thought. Another option would be probably a406-a1-a501-a400 then left o to gordon sq and again left o to gordon street a4200

Now thinking about the way bck as i cant turn right o to a501

That is inside the night time and weekend lorry ban area and the proscribed times, so I hope you have an official route.

This is the route. To get back out, left onto Euston Road, left onto Gower Street again, right into Grafton Way, right onto Tottenham Court Road the right onto Euston Road.

That route is lbts friendly, whether official or not is a different story as I’m yet to work for a company that pays nearly 2k a year just to get routes approved. But I guess if it was a free service, everyone would use it and nobody would get fined for going wrong :unamused:

I’d definitely be asking for written confirmation that the vehicle is registered with lbts, as it’s not, the truck is banned from Gordon St until 0700 Monday and you will get a fine as well as the company. At least a written decloration might help your appeal.

If you don’t want to go as far as A1 on A406 you could come off at A1055 follow through Tott hale then A503 to Holloway and join A1 there. Ban starts when you leave the A501

how do i get back onto a1 from a501? the direct left turn is prohibited and theres a 16.5t limit on Baron street?

Yeah baron street falls under llcs. Stay on A501 past A1 next right at t/lights wakley street, right at the end Goswell road then you will come back to A1 and you can turn right there back onto A1

The last two left turns were tight :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

And on top of that i had to parallel park the lorry which was not too bad.

Next time i will plan the route trying to avoid left turns onto residential streets
