Have seen the Siemens sim tacho. Does anyone have any actual activities that I can program into it??
Also, I’m finding lots of info on passing tests, etc but very little on route planning for LGV’s. Anyone any ideas on this one??
The tacho modes are;
Driving - You should know this one!
Other work - Anytime you aren’t driving then you are on other work. Most units will auto switch to this when stationary.
Break - Anytime you aren’t driving or doing other work and are resting then the unit should be on BREAK
POA - Don’t bother with this, more hassle than its worth.
Route planning…Map and/or sat nav careful of low bridges and weight restrictions.
Don’t worry about width restrictions though - if enough of us go through they get wider
