Leaving Coalville just after 6am tomorrow, traveling to hoddesdon, just off the a10. Obviously I’ve looked at the map and know how to get there just wandering if anyone can advise the best route at that time in the morning??

I know my scheduled collection is 630 with a 930 delivery :open_mouth: think I may struggle.

To be fair ive left the quarries at that time of day before and had a good run down that way, if i was you i’d listen to the radio if the M1 is Bolloxed go A14 or vice versa mate :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

A14 - A1 - jct 4 A414 through Hertford and pick up the A10 - 2nd turn off the A10 signposted Hoddesdon - gets my vote :wink:

A14-A1 jct 7 (Stevenage) A602 signposted to ware then
A10 into hoddesdon…

Jct 7-4 is usually chaos early morning.As is A414 through Hertford.

A14 to Godmanchester.
A1198 to Royston.
A10 straight down.
Dead easy mate. Use this way quiet a lot.
Get a bit of traffic Spittals to Godmanchester and just after Papworth but otherwise no worries.

Only issue was just a few to many roundabouts after a14. Made a change though

Glad to help mate.
I prefer single track etc to dual and motorways. Keeps you on your toes and better scenery and stopping places etc.
