Global Positioning Systems have Route 66 EUROPE 2005 edition for the PC at the same price as the Route 66 UK edition.
Seems a good buy at £21.23 (£28.41 inc Delivery & VAT)

They say Route 66 - 2005 edition but it is lacking some newish roads in the UK. at least!
No M6 toll
No A120 by-pass
Minus points compared to Autoroute 2004
No full postcode location
No shortcut menu keys
Not as comphensive with waypoint locations e.g. petrol stations, banks ETC.
Plus points
Clearer readable mapping
Live Traffic Information (via internet connection)
ETA onscreen via GPS
Overall a disapointment.
P.S. Autoroute 2005 due out in September

Just putting the record straight. Each has its own merits…
Autoroute does FULL Postcode search down to house level.
Route 66 does Postcode only to local area.
Autoroute 2004 does 1 sec updates the same as Route 66.
well last time i saw autoroute must not have been 2004
