And you can drive to and from there on a Sunday as long as it is between there and the port

is it open on a sunday jimti? very few are these days

I don’t think so, it wasn’t last time I stopped there, but that was before the no parking in the port rule came into effect

I used caen in february and there were plenty parked in the port having come off the saturday night or sunday boat, has it changed since then? you get free wifi if you park close enough to the booking office :bulb:

I parked up in the port on a friday in late march for a monday crossing, so has it changed since? As welshboy said free internet, showers etc but it’s expensive to eat and drink out and about though 6 Euros a pint and 12 for a pizza.

hello neil hows the job going? :stuck_out_tongue:
typical france, 6 euros a pint but a case of 24 bottles in the hypermarket for a fiver :unamused: :unamused:

I parked up in the port this bank holiday Monday night no problem, there was plenty of room used the free wifi but showers where closed.

The parking ban was bought in about 18 months ago, I guess they just didn’t bother to enforce it in the end. Probably because the condoms don’t like working nights or weekends unless they really have to. lol

The Coin de Port is still up and running in Avenue Michel Cabieu, but Claud Moriu has sold it and its under new ownership, It seems to attract a lot of Gendarmes in the evenings as there is a training school nearby.
