Thats assuming the people are capable of these roles. A lot of checkout cashier’s I have known wouldn’t be capable of that. They are still being replaced by self checkouts though.

Saw the short version on CLICK.
It said that the autonomous part is where there is no human contact i.e. when the containers are loaded/unloaded in the container storage area’s. When there are containers being loaded/unloaded off the ship, there must be somebody in the overhead crane, same goes for when the containers are loaded/unloaded onto waiting trucks.
Presumably the robots will be the new purchaser/consumers of the tat that comes in those containers once the human jobs are gone?
