Just sat in purfleet waiting to board the boat to Rotterdam. I have to load a bomag paver and roller then wait all day in the docks for the return to the uk. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is much to do there? It’s going to be a bloody long day if not.

Bag house
Get a lift into Rotterdam or even jump a train to Amsterdam and see the Xmas market
Plenty of busses and (poss trams) from outside the port 10 mins from city center im sure there will be an xmas market to wander around.write down the stop name you get on the bus at as you will never pronounce it if you need to on way back
Defo catch the bus into town
just ask a docker or driver whats the crack
Cheers lads. A trip into town it is then.

My Mrs used to be an Ann Summers rep, so there’s probably not alot she hasn’t already got . Spent a bit of time in Holland myself. But that was Nijmegan (or however it’s spelt) way. Working on a tunnel mining project in the early noughties, but we stayed in a hotel over the border in Germany so spent more time there.
