Best route for an artic please
Sat nav says A49 through Hereford and Leominster then off at Craven Arms on to A489 over to Churchstoke then A490.
Are the last 2 roads any good for an artic as I haven’t been that way before, always been Telford, Shrewsbury way down.

The route your sat-nav shows you should be fine. A bit twisty in places near Chirbury,also keep your elbows in,several other artics use that route.
We are based in Welshpool,we all use that route the all the time,couple of tight bends but it’s quite a good run really,certainly not worth carrying on up the A49.
As above route is fine just a couple of pinch points between craven arms and chirbury but nothing too extreme.
