Hi, dose anybody no if its still open for trucks to over night at?

The truckstop, and well, if you could call it a cafe, are not there anymore, but theres bags of room to park for free overnight, and then a 5 min walk back up to the services for your bits and bobs… 
Thats a shame,didnt someone on here take it on and try to improve it.
Yes they did about a year ago, seemed like he had some good ideas for the place, but i went there about 3 weeks ago to find it desolate and not even a sign of a cafe or anything…
I park here regularly, and there is acres of space although there are no facilities, its quiet and not over run with trucks parking on top of each other. But its only a matter of time before the Taliban find it or someone puts a barrier on it, if drivers abuse it someone will put a stop to it … just saying 
If you are heading for the M5 and have a spare half hour go to upton on Severn much better place to overnight.

F-----g rip off now though £10 to park and there’s only a bog! The owner of the chippy and some of the landlords are not happy as there are hardly anyone parks there now so they’re not getting any revenue in through the week off us hungry and thirsty truckers. You used to have to be there for 6oclock to be certain of getting a good spot and not being blocked in, now you are lucky to see 10 trucks parked up. I’ve been there twice in last 12 month and there must have only been about 8 others in there both times. It seems as though Malvern Council are trying to run us out off town and its a shame as Uptons a great place especially the summer months and they don’t realise it’s us truckers keeping the town going through the winter months the landlords and takeaway owners know this too.
10 quid is a bit much 
Not been there for awhile used to have a good night there by the side of the river.

Thats a shame to hear that the council are ruining Upton. Had some good nights there. The annoying thing with all the parking price increases is that the people it’s aiming to discourage eg ’ the taliban ’ as mentioned earlier , aren’t bothered as they just won’t pay and then disapear, by which time all the regular uk drivers have given up and gone else where! Next thing the council decide there is not the demand and remove the HGV parking meaning one less place for a safe overnight stop.

If its a pint and snap you want■■? If you’re coming M5 south come off at J7 head south down the A38 you’ll go by the Upton turning just after there is a Pub on the left called the Bluebell park in layby 100 yds after it VERY NICE
