Thanks for posting
That bloke in the cafe seemed really proud of the food he served. All home made with chips.
I’m sure I used to work with the old Norfolk trucker on the cb, I wanted to see if he was driving the Crane Fruehauf truck to be sure though.
And the although I started driving a few years after this film was made it did bring back a few memories of the shows in truckstops, well the ones they could show on telly.

You most certainly did work with the old Norfolk Trucker(not sure wether to post his name ) on the CB, as did I.
You see the outside of the illfated Transcon right at the end, it got written on Leadenham hill probably not long after this film was made, As when I first worked with him (1989) He and his side kick had a pair off Roadtrains.
That Raodtrain used to growl first thing in the morning, My little G290 wanted to run away and hide at the noise , as did my hangover had I had the good fortune to park the night with him . Absolute top bloke
Loved that menu, and all for the princely sum off £1.60 + 40p for desert.
I like the bit were the hairdresser says " they all belong to someone" brilliant
Thanks alot for posting that, As muckles said it brought back alot off memories
If the Mrs reads this, I only went to the show that were off a broadcasterble nature really

I never forget a face or a good old Norfolk drawl, i remember getting sent to meet him at the farm cafe on the A17, so he could keep an eye on me and make sure I got the stack of 3 trailers safely to boalloy, I found him and his sidekick holding court in the bar, I left them still there at midnight, we due to leave at 4am, great bloke to work with and to have a beer with as was his sidekick and many of the drivers working there at that time.
Of course only only saw the unbroadcastable entertainment by accident, wrong place, right time. No really stopped for eggs and chips and got some baps to go with them.
