Buzzer:
Now this is a bit of rough sheeting, wonder who ran this outfit Buzzer.

The only rough thing about this shot Buzzer is the tractor unit !! Cheers Bewick.

Quite correct Larry and it wasn’t very impressive IIRC although I bought 3 Magnums for our Euro fleet in the early 90’s after a very impressive demo to Munich and back. Cheers Dennis.

I wouldn’t follow that skateboard very long on the M/Way, I’d be out, past and gone before I got hit with some debris off of it ! :unamused:

dan turn the sheets the long way then it maybe a proper job.fully sucure.no gaps for the old wind, nothing to fall out .noone will see your load.

It’s only sheeted to keep the top layers / shrink wrap on ,it’s rubber ,it’s very hard to do a so called proper job on these type trailers as the side rail is only inch & half deep and the hooks are under it rather than under the cross members so no Depth to trap against .but yes good idea !

Dennis did you notice that this outfit has a ■■■■■■■ registration but I have no idea who it belonged to.
Cheers, Leyland 600

Is this the motor you meant L600 ? it was a Renault Demo from JDS Trucks Blackburn IIRC, a total load of rubbish as I recall. Cheers Dennis.

No question about it the finest exponents of the craft of sheeting and roping came out of Scotland during the “hayday” of this method of transport prior to the Curtainsiders becoming popular, IMHO, others may hold different opinions. Cheers Bewick.

Plus 1 ,Dennis even admitted some pages back that the further South you go the standard of sheeting gets lower ,thus milnthorpe a good stretch from john o groats !!

No roping and sheeting required for this load, all hand ball on all hand ball off,few and it’s hot,no Hi Viz jackets,no “you can’t park that there mate” just people with common sense getting the job job done, here in North Cyprus. We picked 959 kgs of Olives on Mon,Tue and Wednesday cleaned them Thursday and pressed them on Friday, not a bad weeks work, and the result, load the 197 litres of Olive Oil back in the Truck and take home,
