Last one to-night,another shot at Hockliffe this time showing 3 trailers loaded with woodpulp ex Tilbury for Milnthorpe. There’s one of the “Oldham Yellow Perils” and a couple of K.Fell’s, 2 of the trailers have empty pallets on board for return to the Libby factory in Milthorpe.
Sorry to hear about your good lady Harry, I hope she is soon on the mend. does this mean that you
will have to do her job at the care home until she is fit again? The poor old souls won’t know what
has hit them!! I was beginning to wonder if you had quietly gone on a residential course to
get your drivers CPC, theres gonna be plenty of work in a year or two when all these blokes
who say they are not going to take the course are on the scrapheap. Far sighted “gadgies”
like you will be able to name your price!! If you believe that you will stand for the
“five card trick”. regards Kev.

hiya,
Thanks for that Kev have passed on your comments cheeky mare she’s accused me of not being as considerate as people she doesn’t know, she is actually on the home care where she uses her own car to visit her patients in their own homes, but at 69 it’s time she chucked it some of her visits are younger. than her, but I think that this little incident might just have swayed her to call it a day, I hope so I’ve tried for long enough to get her to retire and remember Kev you get more twist when you’re together 24/7 luvvly jubbly, now with regards to the CPC thingy and resurrecting .the old class one, prospective employers who want to recruit a star man will just have to whistle, a waste I know but with zero handball and no roping and sheeting i’d find I couldn’t get worn out enough to sleep at nights, remember I did chuck tanker driving on one occasion (Bayfords) I found it too boring moved to this neck of the woods (40 years ago) and returned to distance work and ropes and sheets, crazy or what, no answer required but couldn’t live with the repetition same thing day in day out and although the money was fantastic for the time and the product was only polished water was missing the journey work of which i got plenty at Glenny’s and Cookies.
thanks harry long retired.
