It’s that searchlight that gets my vote Dig, that’s what most of us had at Buntine’s, wired into the high beam switch we could see for miles if there was no-one in the way.

As far as cramped is concerned, SDU, couldn’t be as tiny as the B Motor, but then we weren’t required to sleep in it. :laughing:

They soldiered on until the late '80s on Brisbane local.

If we slept at all it was in the pm waiting for the cows to be calmer and in the bulldust under the trailer. Otherwise ‘back home’ at Buntine Towers we had a comfortable bunkhouse. :smiley:
