They soldiered on until the late '80s on Brisbane local.

Many had to though, B Models were the mainstay on the Sydney/Brisbane Darwin run til well after Cyclone Tracy.
They soldiered on until the late '80s on Brisbane local.
If we slept at all it was in the pm waiting for the cows to be calmer and in the bulldust under the trailer. Otherwise ‘back home’ at Buntine Towers we had a comfortable bunkhouse.

Then they changed to the iconic Invincible/Warrior (surely the best pre-sleeper era) cab before finally settling for the Big J, after the Jaguar takeover.
