Now just hang on there a bit being quick off the mark to accuse a young and innocent haulier ! :open_mouth: What about “The Elephant in the room” BAXTERS ROAD SERVICES ! now they were a dodgy outfit in their day and they employed some very 'iffy Drivers ( No names no pack drill  ) and I just bet they paid their drivers £5 cash in hand for every sheet they nicked off of British Road Services. Now we know how certain members on the site can maintain a comprehensive stock of very expensive Single malts when the rest of us have to make do with Super Market own brand economy priced blended Scotch  ( No names no pack drill of course) but then again if the “Cap fits” !!! Anon 1.

Absolutely, David. Made entirely of waterproof rubber with decent tread on the soles, reaching up to just under the knee. There is also the facility to turn down the tops of the legs in warmer weather. I have an ancient but serviceable pair somewhere in the back of the allotment shed.

Rof thats the best place for them IMO, Just relaxe and have a good go at a bottle of barley sqeezings from Scotland, Forintance Glenmorangie, Im sure you will feel much better, After tasting this & wake up in the morning feeling stiff? But perhaps not where you would have prefered,   Regards Larry.

Couldn’t agree more Larry, although my favourite tipple is Bushmills, only €13.60 for 70cl’s here in Portugal, could easily become an alcoholic, not sure about stiffness in the morning,as you hint, not where it matters anyway!

Ahhh Bushmills!!! A real whiskey. I’ve had to curtail my consumption of the golden nectar due to my ongoing stomach problem but, I really do miss my favourite tipple, “Bushmills Black”. Regards Kev.

My heart bleeds for you David, £12 for a bottle of heavenly delight!!! You poor hard up OAP       At that price I might test my stomach problem to destruction.  Regards Kev.

Hi Kev, will you be marshalling at the Tyne Tees Run on Sunday same area as last year? I shall be there in person only no vehicle this year.
Cheers, Leyland 600.

Summer time is cider time in my opinion. Will save the Jura for when the weather turns a bit nippy.

No wonder you need your eyes sorting out Casey having spent numerous years supping pints of real extremely rough Scrumpy :open_mouth: :open_mouth:   Cheers Dennis.

Nothing like it, Dennis! And I’m delighted to say that I can now get “proper” cider in the depths of Macclesfield so I don’t have to keep inventing excuses to trundle off down the M5 every couple of months.
