Do try and keep up Dennis, both loads referred to are on the Foden, with a single fly sheet covering both loads.
David
Hi punchy dan, what! is all that mess betwwen the wheels off side, looks like a "bunch of rope not needed."other wise not bad .just a tip,one sheet all the load.
The only sheets i fold now days are when i am ironing, you will get there ,try 40foot trailers loaded with bottles stacked 2 high… good luck.we are watching.lol
Yes Dan, shape thysen lad or ROF’s overpriced sheeting and roping course will be the next step. Maybe then these ‘armchair critics’ will have now’t to criticize? No good asking me for advice though, I just pulled on a rope and as if by magic the load sheeted its sen!
Pete.

Ok here goes it’s 2 loads ,the back one comes off first at Bury they open at 6am the front load was Wigan they open at 730 am ,bury must not see what eles is going where ,2 sheets ,1 fly sheet ,and Peggy go to spec savers !! Menis Denis I do hope your not referring to the top of the range Mercedes motor caravan ? Pete I’ll get a front to back easy sheet .David the whisky is on me.
Pete 2nd load tomorrow is 6 pallets of industrial mop buckets , I think I will treat them to the tipper net with bungees on .
No cheating, Dan. You’ll have himself down on you like a ton of bricks.
Or half a ton if you’re using one of your motorised wheel barrows.

Morning ROF,
You will have to nip over the hill from Macc and enrol Dan on one of your courses!
Hi Punchy Dan, if you want to be included in the band of men “That can do it”, rope and sheet, you put it out to the public ,so you must expect very strict scrutiny so it is not spec savers i need to go to you, have forgotten the ZOOM feature on the computer, and if you ZOOM TO 2OO on your photograph you will see what i mean .
I do understand your deliver awkwardness ,but just roll the back sheet back, and tell lies, transport was run on lies…
Even we humble tipper lads had to use two sheets at times Dan, even three on occasion, so two or three sheets is nowt to worry about! Presumably both loads arrived intact and dry which is all they needed to do, leave the ‘pretty stuff’ to those hourly paid lads who have not much to do and all day to do it in!!!
Pete.

Sadly, Pete, I think the lad is unlikely to be able to afford my O.R.& S curse- he spends all his spare cash on running various puddle-jumpers which are unlikely to earn him very much. Especially as he insists on touring around the country in one of them without the benefit of even an empty trailer.
Shame bewick drivers aren’t as good at rolling sheets up !

you shouldn’t be knocking the lad , he’s doing his best to contribute to our meagre pensions .
WELL,!PUNCHY DAN you do have a case for the" bundling" up of sheets driver must have slipped through the net on the rolling up course, and a classic view of the CAB HOTEL ,nice drapes. for all you up and coming drivers who want to drive for a living just take note of the exhaust pipe, now think you self lucky…
Why am I getting dragged into this debacle about Dan’ls rubbish sheeting and roping
He told me he was practising for when he attends the Calgary Stampede “lassooing competition” when he goes to Canada this year, that’s why there are big loops on his hitches! Oh! and while I’m on regarding our Big J and m/t trailer there would be a couple of hessian bags full of wedges under that fly sheet being kept dry so that’s why it looks a bit “humpty” as you can see it was one of the Paper Mill contract motors. It’s not one of my shots it must be “down the road” somewhere probably taken in around 1977,that particular Guy went into service new in January '77. Cheers Dennis.

Because they look up to you for advice Dennis!
Hi BEWICK i am pleased i am not the only one with time on his hands sat at the computer and not out doing something useful, not as i want much to do,…hope the shouter is getting better ,that mutton grease works wonders,as for the Wedges ,yes i used to have them in the foot-well and notice, the back scotches under the legs now days the only Wedges the young drivers know, are the ones bigger than oven chips …
Pete SMITH is correct you are the unsung sheeting and roping guru, well Northern west branch…i hope you paid him night out money for cabbing it,i am sure you did .we used to look on it as inconvenience money[union] no matter where you slept…pdb.
