This is a massive long-shot, but I am wondering if anyone has a picture of an F786 with a roof rack/storage rack on the roof.
I have searched everywhere that I can think of and not found a thing.
I ask because the unit I have, has damage to the roof gutter on both sides and holes on the front of the roof, along with spreader plates that I found inside the roof, indicating that it had a roof rack of some description.
I would like to replicate this.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You could try Western Trucks @ Leyland, 01772 454 124 . they import parts for Macks and other Yank trucks, may be able to get hold of a diagram for you.
Hi att, could your Mack have had an air deflector on the roof instead of a storage rack ? I drove a couple of F models over here an some had air deflectors on the roof, a bit crude by todays standard but should be easy to fabricate.

I suppose it could have done, but it would look awful! The damage to the roof guttering would suggest a rack though and I know this vehicle did Middle East runs…Just by the amount of sand in the side lockers
Thanks for the idea though.

They are really helpful people, had some contact with them already, I will have to ask next time I contact them.
Thanks for that.
