This might be of interest to some of you. From Stades home site. A winter tour, looks like Germany, Norway and Sweden. -25 somewhere!!!

Anyone care to guess who the band is? Its a bit hard to see!!! (thats a clue)

Looks very cold there. Stardes are they a British company? Just wondering with the eagle on the front of trucks - doesn’t look dis-similar to Germany’s emblem.

Next time we have the chaps out I will ask about the eagle, Mr Steinburg has a fondness for steam engines and a couple of trucks have been named after famous steam trains wot I have never heard of.

Simon is right, it was the Darkness, the tour were the gigs got smaller and smaller.

A few years ago I did a tour in Belarus in December and the venues were ice hockey stadiums, I never got warm for 2 weeks :frowning: Had a local tour bus were the heater had broken as well, we had blankets and more blankets and us roadies had to snuggle up together to keep warm :unamused: happy days. The hotels were interesting, you get your keys and a few sheets of toliet paper, hookers on each floor and these girls ain’t playing rugby :wink:

Some pictures are definately from Finland. Like this taken just couple kilometers from Port of Turku towards Helsinki or this taken also from the road from Turku to Helsinki, but I can’t say for sure the exact location. Also every picture of white-blue colored ferriers are taken either on Finnish or Swedish ports. There’s also some pictures which I can confirm to be from Sweden, like this.

Regrettably we don’t currently have any snow in big parts of southern Finland :imp: It has been really weird “winter” as temperature has been staying near and above 0 °C almost whole december :confused: It feels like it’s spring already as it’s so warm. There was one big snow storm month or two ago, but after that, nothing. Global warming… :smiling_imp:
