Roadtrains

Carryfast was right, they’re taking to the roads for a full monopoly

Tin foil hats on gents and prepare the servers for a youtube and google overload :grimacing:

Deisel engined loco- probably knocking out @ 1600 bhp ? but can it turn a corner? :grimacing: most loco’s dont have a steering wheel. a slight drawback when your not on rails

Be OK if it’s a DD stroker though. It’s a double double double drive too, think how many tilts that sucker could drag

throw a 2 stroke motor in there for something and CF be all over it.
Saying that he probs applied for a job to drive it but got turned down for some reason like he 2 inches to short or something

This was in a classic truck mag recently and all I remember it appears to be an ex missile carrier chassis with a loco body fitted.
Don’t know if it ever took to the road or was just a stunt.

Here is a clip of it and another similar one. According to the clip its use was classified but apparently it was intended as a mobile power station? Seems like a feeble cover story to me. I reckon it was intended to pull lots of trailers without needing rails which would confirm CF’s worst nightmares. The rail industry really did mean to take away truck drivers jobs. :unamused: :unamused:

He missed out because as usual Joe Philpot beat him to it :unamused: :unamused:
