How about the bull dozer in the field on the left n/b just before the junction of the M40 with the M42?
It’s been there a year or two.
There’s quite a few down the M5.
The two camels n/b just south of Highbridge.about a mile south of the Wicker Man.They were both moved a few weeks ago away from the hedge towards the middle of the field.
A mile south of them was the T Rex dinasaur, couldn’t see it last time I came past.
Again n/b just before the King’s Sedgemoor Drain, the breakers yard with the ex army Leyland wrecker in white.

i live near there its actually in a scrap yard Earlswood area!

The Fun Ship

The Duke of Lancaster, a former car ferry and cruise ship, got its name the Fun Ship because, towards the end of its life, it operated as an arcade and bar from its dry dock at Mostyn, near Holywell

No pic but what about where they have removed the roundabout on A1 going south (the one after colsterworth i think) there is a Metro side sticking out of the banking on the left looks mad as its under the mud but you get a lovely side shot, Wouldnt mind seeing a pic

I keep meaning to stop and get a picture of that, its been there at least 8 or 9 years, a great entry for Practical classics spotted section eh?

I think you should get a pic because i always forget to stop too, Just passed it about half hour ago it definitely a white metro. Wonder how it ended up there

I’m pretty sure word of mouth and that it was the gate guard from a old RAF base, there used to be a road at the side of it like the entrance to the camp.

On page 1 of this thread I mentioned the abandoned bulldozer at the top of the M40,here it is.
If you are travelling n/b,it’s just before the sliproad onto the M42 n/b.
