Does anyone use or got a Roadhawk RH-1 camera stored away somewhere that they are not using?
I am trying to track down the adheisive mount that comes with this camera for my flat mate, he is struggling to use this in his car due to the visual area of the windscreen as the suction connector is too big and in line of view.
Does anyone have just the adhiesive mount they would be willing to send me?
This is going to come across as sarcastic but it’s not meant to be…why does he put the camera in his line of sight?
I have one and it really does give a wide view so maybe suggest that he puts it over on the passenger side of the window a bit more?

its more to do with the car layout itself. Its a MG ZR so you sit low and you need all the viewing area you can get, the sucker for the RH-1 is massive so if it was on passenger side it would create a severe blind spot and positioning it bottom centre would be in eye of sight and bottom drivers site its impossible to do without being in direct eye line, it cant go up near mirror either as again in line of view.
so only option is to get rid of sucker and use the adhesive pad which is discrete and less of a viewing issue to the driver

they no longer sell the camera and do not sell the mounts any longer. Thats why asking on here as most truckers will use the suction cup and the adhesive mounts will be abandoned and forgotton about and never used.
You mean one of these bad boys? PM your address and i’ll send it. Mine is hard wired into the lorry with the suction mount so i’ll never use this.
