My road tax renewal came through today for my 18 ton tipper (2011). Usually £700 odd a year however it’s just come through at £300. Have I missed something on the budget■■?
The government has suspended road levy portion of the road tax for 12 months for all tax renewals
That’s correct, it started from 1st august

So if it is suspended for one year, starting last month, and your renewal comes through now, are you best to tax for six months and then re tax for 12 months?

Thats exactly what i was thinking, i.ve just taxed mine for 12 and wondered if i should have only done 6
