I am looking to buy a ford Mondeo estate 1.8 to 2.0, 05/06 plate any of my fellow hgv drivers own one of these,if so whats the road tax cost,i am asking on here as I have tried looking up the tax band but the sites I looked at are bloody useless,keep showing new cars that are out of my budget

Expensive. Assuming petrol its £265 a year. Diesel is £180 a year.

Its not hard to work out how much the tax is. Go to here, stick in the reg number and find out the CO2 emissions then go to this table here and see what band the CO2 emissions fall into and how much it’ll be.

cheers wheelnutt,an extra £18 pounds for a 1.8 lx estate,not too bad,at the mo I have a hondaCRV £126 for 6 months,so as I say I can live with the extra,TA
