After the snow and frost we have had this winter, there are already a lot of road surfaces are starting to break up. Once the frost comes out of the ground they are going to get worse. The roads were already in a bad state before. The various authorities etc are going to have to spend a huge amount of money to get the roads of this country sorted.
I expect as usual it will be just a patch up job, but major repairs have got to come soon.
In 1963 there was a huge amount of damage done to the roads after the freezw ended, I know this is not as bad yet.

I have seem a few sections of road breaking up that’s for sure and winter is by no means over yet. Gives work to someone I suppose.
More snow tomorrow, some frost all week. Perhaps Mr Brown will throw some cash towards the highway repairs. Otherwise everyone with the classic, or vintage vehicles are going to break some springs on the road runs.
