Road rage?

del949:
difficult to see properly but was there a cycle path or was it simply a pavement?

Not difficult to see at all. There was no cycle path. Just a clip showing a motorist who has no patience like far too many these days. Cyclists are just as entitled to use the road as motorists but some seem to think different.
This clip just shows how bad things have become and anyone involved in such incidents need to realise they do not own the road. A good hard slap would be to nice for these morons.

 The driver uses 2 ton of metal to herd the cyclist into the gutter, then freaks the ■■■■ out when faced with the bloke pointing a bike at him

One couldnt help notice the disco drivers tampon string hanging out during the drama.

Disco driver gets a little too close initially, cyclist gives it the bigun initiating the war of words to follow, just humans unable to tolerate each others excistence in the battleground of preambulation.

Both appeared evolved enough not to throw the first punch though but would have been nice to see a bit of slap and tickle.

In the end cyclists take sides with cyclists and motorists with motorists, few of us stuck in the middle can see it from both sides but in the end its a war out there just not many realise we are all on the same side. Pair of right ■■■■■ if you ask me

YEP,set of cants :grimacing:

I’m not a great fan of cyclists however the car driver in this clip is just a big baby and would probably react in the same way if an old dear didn’t cross the road quick enough for him, absolutely brain dead.

tango boy:
He has a faking point!!!
Boils my ■■■■ when they don’t use the cycle lane :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

As a former lycra clad cyclist (gave it up after being hit by a car, the driver of which complained about the damage I’d done whilst I was prone on the floor with a broken arm!) I have to say them “shared cycle lanes” are useless. You don’t want to be cycling along at 25 mph with slowmoving pedestrians and cyclist coming in the opposite direction just inches away. The roads are big enough for everyone.
This was just a case of some ■■■■■■ who thought his journey was more important than someone else’s.

Fixed that for you

All involved want incinerating.

Car driver reminds me of the brilliant actor Ray Winstone.Somebody drank too much coffee that day, or a string of incidents led up to the last straw with Mr Lyra man.
Red mist makes anyone lose the plot.

I’d prefer a bit of fisticuffs to a spitting match - even if you get your ■■■ kicked, still more of a man than a handbag

the last time it cost me a visit to the prosecutors office and about a grand in fines but well worth it

babysham with a splash of lemonade for the pair of them

I suppose people don’t want to be driving at 60mph with slow moving, wobbling-all-over-the-place cyclists and vehicles coming the other way, just inches away…

That video was full of idiots. Again though I love how we get a billy big baws cyclist who likes to swear and gesture and then when confronted fills his little Lycra briefs like he’s been 5 days solid on the curry and Guinness.

Simple way to look at it is road rage is stupid. But don’t be stupid enough to mouth off if you can handle what you’re mouthing off at.

Don’t know what the fuss is about, I have several of these confrontations every day but usually with the transport office

Anyone know the outcome of this one?

Yeah, they all had to to C&A and buy new knickers cos they’d ■■■■■■ theirselves.

:sunglasses:

I can’t stop watching it. Both of them make me laugh, the cyclist is a bawbag and Mr rage just tickles my ribs everytime.

Mr Brew received a Police caution.

Ray Winstone is indeed a brilliant actor and gets paid to act like a horrible cadet under navy training as in the film Nil by Mouth, where as the leather clad midget with the big mouth that was driving the Disco is just a real life horrible cadet under naval training who is probably hen pecked and not allowed to say anything indoors hence his posing and posturing and shouting and hollering, the ones you need to watch out for are the ones that punch first and ask questions after, that said I wouldn’t fancy a right hander off of Mr Winstone.

I know the road very well, takes you to the sheen gate of Richmond park ,I shouted at a cyclist going the other way to use the cycle lane when he caught me at the lights he explained very politely why he never uses them he was so calm it also calmed me down and we both had a decent conversation until the lights changed, turns out that particular cycle lane is riddled with bumps and potholes, and as a point of fact cyclists don’t actually have to use cycle lanes if they choose not to ,its not law, personally I would have had the car driver nicked for all the threats [and no I am not a cyclist]
