This always happens on the M25 and I blame the overhead cameras that never go off. By the end of the week I just sit in lane 2 of 4 on the M25 and problem solved.
[zb] my back ■■■■ I am an angry [zb] looking back on all that.
Try this in any road worked zone on the M6 (J10 upwards comes to mind, why do they keep sending me up that way…). Go to over take silly [zb] doing 40 in 50. Get stuck behind silly [zb] doing 42. Flash the lights. Wave the hands. Drive at the [zb]. That massive gap on the left? Might as well not exist, but the trucks too long to undertake the [zb]. It’ll fit your [zb] van but not my truck. So stop making my brake and [zb] off out the way you rippleheaded [zb] wad.
Argh.
Not sayings its good driving, in fact its very bad driving but I will change lanes a lot if I’m being held up. Going down the M1 on Friday stuck behind morons doing 40 in the second lane. Can’t use the 3rd lane as they have cameras watching it so I’m having to duck in and out of lane 1 to make progress.

Basically we’re all admitting that we drive really dangerously at high speeds (well, high in LGV terms).

We all do in some way. By letting yourself get swept up in road rage is driving dangerously. We are as bad as the idiots who sit at 40 in the second lane.
Last night I had my first red mist incident for a long time. I was on a dual carriageway with a 70km limit, approaching a set of lights that were green and we’re going to stay green (amber lights flash on the approach if they’re going to change) a truck pulled straight out in front of me from the side road on the right using both lanes (turning right on a red is allowed if nothing is coming and you must come to a stop first) and I had to jump on the anchors.
I got alongside this ■■■■ and as soon as my unit was passed I returned to the inside lane in a very swift movement, my intention was to block him in and get out and give the ■■■■ a good hiding, but then rationality descended upon me and I thought of the consequences and I carried on, albeit very slowly, daring him to try and pass me, but we were on top of the ring road intersection and he decided to take the longer way around the top of the city as I took the southern route.

Have you thought about changing your signature??
Nope, it actually proves my point, the bloke looked at me and just pulled straight out in front of me, if I had been a bit heavier I would not have been able to avoid an accident of some sort, either hitting him or going through the central reservation into oncoming traffic.
In my opinion people that pull dangerous moves like that need a good hiding, this wasn’t a mistake, it was dangerous, he jumped a red light and pulled straight out in front of another lorry that was right on top of him.
You PC namby pamby ponces may think that kind of behaviour is OK and we should move on and forget it, I disagree, I could be in hospital now and my livelihood could be in a scrap yard, I think that deserves a good hiding and I’m frustrated that the BS PC world we now inhabit would make me the villain if they prick had got the good hiding he deserved.
I normally rise above and forget it… BUT… last week coming up the sliproad J63 A1M southbound with 23 tons of freight on… Top of the bank theres 50mph roadworks so just managed to get up to 50 there.
UPS drive comes past and moves in, two cars go past speeding in the 50, the back one moves to the inside and the nugget in a white Volvo on the outside swerves across and jams his brakes on…
Two minutes later the UPS man slams on so I moved into the second lane as there was nothing behind me, as I pass the UPS man there is the white Volvo as I get level with the UPS fella he swerves across in front of and slams on, ■■■■■■ sign out the window. Natural reactions had me slam on as well… So, with a 40t payload Im down to 40 and struggle to get back up to 50. White Volvo is in the outside doing about 45, as I get up to him guess what? Yep, in front again brakes on…
I swerved round him and he then matched my speed hanging out the window shouting and gesturing, then he gets his mobile out and I presume starts filming the front of my truck…
At the end of the roadworks he speeds off and level with the exit for J62 overtakes a car and cuts him up to exit!
I spent the rest of the night wondering what it was all about and came to the decision it was time to get a proper dashcam as the one I was using a mobile phone with the dailyroads app, and the cradle broke…
What the nugget doesn’t realise is he lives not far from and his reg T3 OAL is a give away…
