Road hawk camera , chime's zb!

Just swoped over to a different truck yesterday and it’s fitted with a road hawk forward facing camera .

How the hell do you stop it chiming every couple of minutes , bloody annoying it’s starting to do my head in now :imp: :unamused: ( I’m thinking tape over the speaker as the easy /less destructive option :exclamation: )

Had a different camera in my old truck and it just beeped when you went over a bump in the road etc
This bloody thing won’t shut up !

Sensitivity is set too high. go on roadhawks website it shows you how to turn it down.

you need to start driving smoother… :smiling_imp:

as above, turn the sensitivity down.

My roadhawk wasn’t too bad and only seemed to make a noise when I hit a bump in the road but I didn’t know you could adjust the sensativity of it.

Unless you want the world to know what gets said in the cab while it’s on, we didn’t know they recorded audio until one of our drivers was warned about it by his boss so I suggest you turn off the audio recording side of it.

Have you checked there is an SD memory card in it ?

Mine does that all the time when you remove the card.

Just a thought  .

Cheers guys , having looked at their website :I think the memory card needs reformatting , I will check it’s got a card in it to start with tho !
Cheers mike

It’ll chime everytime you hit a bump hard, as it thinks it’s having an accident.

There is a volume control on the back of the unit.

One of our agency’s customers has the forward and rearward facing ones, and the chimes do your nut in.
