Driver of a Focus that hit the lorry died. Radio Glos reckon it might not reopen until mid afternoon. I used Stroud as Cheltenham was meant to be chaos but some window licker has decided to setup traffic lights outside Brimscombe Rugby Club.
At least I wont be able to do 3x topsoils to Gloucester today so 2 and a scenic route will make for a nice day.
Two woman died just up the road, on the A417 between the Birdlip dogging spot and the Highwayman pub. Same thing, car hit lorry head on. Wonder if people were rushing or distracted trying to avoid the earlier closure (which seemed to take a silly amount of time to sort out).
Thankfully neither lorry driver arrested.

Do you mean at Nettledon Bottom Nathan,after the r/about to the Air Balloon. There was talk of a tunnel a few years back, but as usual it never happened. Money that’s what its about.

They should just blast a cutting straight down through to the bottom of Crickley Hill, it would be a good source of stone. If that was in another country it would have been done, no ■■■■■■■ about.
It’s just been on news that local mp’s are putting it to government to have layout changed as incidents there are getting too regular.
Not sure if they will get anywhere soon?

Its a very busy stretch of road linking Gloucester to several other places, its been talked about for to many years. Time they did a scheme to resolve the problems.
