I’m delivering to the roadworks on the A12-Corton, Lowestoft, my way out is straight ahead, but the Forkie just told me that they are not allowed to move the cones !

I reckon it’s just BS, using the health and safety excuse to justify them being to lazy to move them.
To be fair, the guys on site agreed with me, just someone had complained to management about someone moving cones previously, so they had been told “Not to touch them”.
They wanted me to drive down a tree lined B road, being 14’10" I refused, (didn’t fancy wiping out the trailer lights) I told them to stop all the BS, move the cones directly in front & I was gone in 20 seconds.
I’m sure construction site Managers have a Common Sense Amputation when they get the job !!!
If the closure is set up by a traffic management company ,then they are technically correct ,as it should only be the TM team who move cones etc ,due to the blame culture that the UK has become
