A little closer now, but don’t think I can run 110 metres never mind miles! Good luck to them and hope they make it. Just remembered about your own fundraising too, so sorted that one too.
Currently standing at nearly £3K
YES GOOD LUCK WITH THE RUN however the sterling work done by all .RN.LI to me is over shadowed by the MASSIVE amount of millons of collected ,donated , pounds, sterling meant for life boats etc is ,as been spent on that massive new centre at Poole, RNLI stickers or banners mention it,the ordinary person in the street give money for the the building of boats ,yes ,keeping crews, but all that other ,sorry they have enough cash.
Why do they collect for lifeboats in Oxfordshire? It’s landlocked, unless you have life-narrow boats.

Maybe somebody from Oxfordshire went to the coast one day and possibly needed RNLI assistance.
Phone call:
Public spirited person:
Hello RNLI, please send a lifeboat quickly because a bloke from Oxfordshire has fallen into the sea and needs rescuing.
RNLI operator:
Sorry mate, but he’s from a landlocked county, so either he or you must be having a laugh.
