Everytime a truck driver is envolved in an accident or gets killed it’s never his fault,it must have been a mechanical fault, someone cut him up or someother far fetched theory…
Im with you conor,this driver would still be alive tonight if he had been driving sensible.
I’m sure most of us mere mortals will admit to moments of crap driving but thankfully we are still here to tell the tale.

I knew Mat well, absolutely top guy. I’m totally gutted. Nicer guy, and better driver, you couldn’t hope to meet. He was always helpful and supportive of new drivers to the firm, which was how I met him just over ten years ago. I have no idea what happened and it is way too early to speculate but it is tragic to all who knew and spent time with him, and I’m just chipping in to pay DUE RESPECTS to a good friend. Deepest condolences to his family.

I happen to agree with conor,too many idiots flying about in trucks who should’nt be driving a car never mind a 44t truck.

Take no notice of the two gormless pricks that probably couldn’t drive a nail through a bar of soap… that hanging meat is a real barsteward of a load. Couple that with the fact that something mechanical could have gone wrong and you’ve got a disaster.

Rip drive wether it was mechanical,driver error or wether he was just a crap driver what does it matter a fellow driver died someone’s lost there son husband and dad.
What ever the circumstance makes me appreciate that I’ve had a [zb] day had enough off the job at times but i got home tonight gave the mrs a kiss dinner was ready and now I’m feeling privelidged to be able to get up and have another [zb] day tomorrow. Could happen to any off us cause none off us are 100% perfect every second of the day. Condolences to your family.
I Thought we were all supposed to be Professional Drivers.some of you should be assamed of what you have said. We are all doing the same thing ,earning to support our families as he was. I don’t think it matters who or what happened a family life will never be the same again. Lets Hope You Arrive Home To Your Family Safe. None of us know what is round the corner…R.I.P.Drive.
