RIP Friend.

No call for all the speculation on this thread, a man lost his life doing his job. A very unfortunate accident that could happen to anyone. Rip and my condolence to the op.

Very true rip

R.I.P. and Condolences to his family, friends, and workmates. Eddie.

RIP driver…

I really think the moderator should have a look at the post from cotswoldcrunch. It seems a bit out of place on a thread that the drivers friends and family might be viewing. There’s a time and place for the blame game and this is neither. My sympathies. To the man’s family and friends. Rip

i would agree with you and i do hope cotswoldcrunch will at least have the decency to man up and say sorry.
we are all drivers and at any time something can happen to any of us, its the nature of the job hence there called accidents,

condolences to the family and its sad whenever someone loses there life in transport it doesnt matter who is at fault or whatever at the end of the day the guy shown up for work like we all do and sadly will not be going home again
just thank your lucky stars its not you today as it could be unless of course your a perfect driver ?

He’s been on and off line all afternoon, he hasn’t got the balls to say sorry!!! :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Dont think he needs to say sorry, what he needs to do is realise what a complete tool he has been and to grow up and stop putting inflamatory posts up all the time. I didnt ask for his opinion, has as an anybody else. All this was for was to let people know that another one of our profession had died doing the job he loved.
Normally you would have expected him,or any other driver to see the slow moving vehicle in front, but as I said, this time something went tragically wrong. Details are slowly emerging but i`ll not be putting them on here, his family and other friends might read them and get upset, any anyhow I am not the tncsi, and an official inquest will be held in due course.

R.I.P. drive

Assuming the tractor was just travelling along minding his own business, anyone behind should have adequate eyesight to spot him/her, beacons or not.[/
Neither you nor I know the circumstances if this tragic accident, so it’s wrong of you to make an assumption ! At the end of the day a colleague lost his life doing an honest job that he loved, lest we forget that at this moment !!!
Let he without sin cast the 1st stone !!!
