Yep picked up yesterday. You can get quite a bit of distance between you and the law in 24hrs

Always a sad day when some poor buggar doing what he enjoys/earning a crust etc etc doesn’t make it home to his wife/partner/family…that’s why I always give the Mrs a kiss and tell her that I love her before walking out the door…you never know what’s out there. And for all those that are chomping at the bit in anticipation of the speed increase on SC roads, take a long, hard look at the picture…this might/could’ve been you…not because of (hopefully) your actions, but because of someone far less experienced …there will always be plenty of space for another on the Highway in the sky

even driving the 15 miles from Nottingham to derby I always wake my partner to say bye just in case its the last time I get to do it.

What was it carrying to catch fire from tipping over? Diesel after all doesn’t ignite easily.

That road is a poxy bit of road or it used to be ,I remember a few years ago I used to do March Sainsbury’s out of Rye Park Hoddesdon. you would be going along the road which was all over the place the unit and trailer would get a bounce on then you are hanging on the steering wheel for dear life trying to stay in your seat. Always used to see at least one yokel motor in the ditch where they had tried to drive home the worse for wear.
