To be honest I have no idea if she feels the same. I have no intention of cheating on the mrs at all. If her mate was fat and ugly then this wouldn’t be an issue, but she isn’t. I have no intention of taking this any further, I just fancy my mrs best mate. Just because Im in a long relationship, it doesn’t mean I cant find other women attractive.
No indeed it doesn’t mean that at all. As you said in your OP you have no intention of acting on it. Therefore I see no problem with you fancying your Mrs best mate at all. It’s not really any differently to fancying a woman you see in a shop really

Personally I think it’s a non issue. Any man in a relationship who says he’s never fancied another is lying. Perfectly natural to fancy people, you cant turn it off like a switch. It’s the acting upon it that is the problem, and you don’t intend to. So get married, enjoy life and admire the view now and again.
