Right Hand Drive German truck

This afternoon about midday at Toddington Services I saw a German registered DAF XF belonging to a company called Freund, or whatever its called, it was definitely green and pulling a tanker!!!

somebody on here works for thems o it was probably him, and what the hell were you in a services for?

did you actually manage not to break down today in ur bus?

This is a wind up . . .isnt it :confused: What with Romanian (Prima)rhd motors blah blah
Freind (spelling) with the granule/powder tankers have had a depot in Runcorn for a while iirc.
■■■■ me , No bed or dressing table will be running rhd motors next !!

Nope, not broken down, just stopped for a 45 min tacho break… :wink:
I nearly did break down on Saturday with my bus - pulled up into some coach yard and noticed that there was coolant ■■■■■■■ out from the front… :open_mouth:

Buses are built to break down. When I was on the crappy local buses I could always get them to pish coolant. Takes a lot of determination and a lead right foot :laughing:

We had old Volvo B10’s. Select Drive, one foot brake, one foot go pedal and just watch the Gbox temp rise higher and higher till that all familuar BINGBINGBINGBINGBINGBINGBINGBINGBINGBINGBINGBING :open_mouth: :smiley:

He’s passed me om the M6 last week.
It may be a German firm,but it was as you say RHD,it also had English plates on.

I think you will find that Freund has No ,UK reg motors
any more, as it is better to run on german plates less problems
