Hi Jonny , if you have to cycle please make sure you wear his vis clothing and a protective
cycling hat , but more important please invest in the best front and back flashing lights you can afford, the best I have seen as a truck driver are for example , two flashing led,s on the front of the bike , a flashing led (light emitting diode) on the riders helmet front and rear,
I can only give you my opinion , by law I must protect other road users and if a cyclist
makes it easier for me by making himself seen I really appreciate that.
I came up on a lot of cyclists today in broad daylight , sometimes I had to travel behind
them for a minute as I could not overtake safely , this was during the day if at night
it could be really dangerous.
