i’ve mentioned them on here before, didn’t work for them, gave work to them - I remember Sarah in the Poole office, drink 99% of blokes under the table, and her sidekick Suzanne (would have been late 80s/early 90s i’m talking about)

I vaguely remember the girl in Manchester but not her name, think Karl was the main man up there? I was about 20 at the time too, Sarah used to scare me a bit - probably still would

Yes i remember my wifes name, its julie, i think, and my names karl ! But not that karl ! I am the poor karl, he was the rich one.I used to subcontract for them with a blue and yellow ford transcon, and run with some wonderfull characters who also ran for them and macandrews/andrew weir shipping etc was good days ,By the way sarah works abit of social work now, not sure what happened to susan from poole, be interested to find out.

yes they are my pictures, they are a bit more recent though, if your interested that scania going for test again tomorrow, thurs, she been of hte road for a rebuild for about 9 months, never could rush much me,manana, .So then, if you boys used to load richmonds, i may well have done a load or two for you, who did you work for, and there must be lots of names that a few might remember, We were a interesting bunch.Surely not all of them can be locked up still…

you got to admit that was funny let me see karl; philips TV tubes from durham and washington to barcelona, baled rags from dewsbury to various places around gerona and olot, carded cotton from the peak district to johnson & johnson in arganda del rey, chemicals out of castleford and bradford down to sant andreu de la barca and other places - ring any bells?

Well,i am a southerer, so a bit far north for me to be loading out with that stuff, i said i was a subby for them, didnt say i was a good one!If it was futher up than birmingham i went home…I think i was the only subby who annoyed karl so much that he actually cancelled a ferry booking on me, on the way home!.Will ask the wife when i see her later, she is the brains in the outfit…
