Hello guys n girls, can anyone give me any idea of the wages Richard King pays… I’m aware of the work they do but have never heard anything about what they pay.

theres a member on here who used to work there… he left to setup his own courier business… cant recall his name… his wife is also a member on here… she’s dutch…
if anybody can recall his name then thats the person you need to liaise with ref RK I guess
A good mate of mine works there & comes on here now & then (for a look) but doesn’t post, he drives a spanking new R620 & does 4 on 4 off & works from (about) 1pm to the early hours each day & doesn’t go home during his 4 days ‘on shift’.
Clean job, top equipment & the money must be OK because as a life long mate, I know he wouldn’t work for crap money or put up with being ‘jerked’ around!! but I believe they do quite a lot of trailer dropping & swapping.

I worked at Kings for just over seven years, if you are use to a old school haulage yard you will fit in , top class kit , money spot on , interesting work , only left due to family coming first.
Not for the faint of heart or people who cant take and give abit of stick. But if you want to earn then the money is there.

quite agree his trucks do look smart, of the ones i do see i dont see them for long as they are usually in the overtaking lane doing far more than 56 mph !
before some know it all says “your truck might indicate 56 but only do 52mph” i had it in for a 6 yearly check 3 weeks ago and it is doing bang on 56 mph, prat nav also indicates 56mph

As Easter said old school haulage you run hard but legal the trucks don’t do well over 56. As far as know its still all se decent day rate but yourbody clock won’t know if its coming or going. You will be expected to keep the truck lucking good . I think I know who Easter star might be pm or call me if its who I think it is
