With some of these cars, they are only insured 3rd party as the bill would be staggering. I remember someone smashed up.his brothers Bugatti Veron when they came out and it was only 3rd party as no one would insure a million pound car. Such a pity.
And here’s what happens when it goes totally wrong

Oh god that’s really awful. That poor girl.
As regards this one it was part of a HR Owen (car dealers) open day, the car did indeed belong to the driver and he was in tears after. I think there’s a strong argument for graded car licenses. Being able to get out of a 1 litre Fiesta and into a supercar on the same license is a bit daft!

I agree Luke, but it seems as though it’s more or less done with hgv licences.

Too many variables and powerful mid let alone rear engined are two of the worst variables.Rowan Atkinson isn’t exactly a novice and he still managed to do this to his McClaren.

Probably because mid engine just creates an unpredictable lottery of anything from massive amounts of four wheel drift to rear engine type weight induced oversteer when the engine tries to overtake the steer axle and then just arrives at the scene of the accident going faster.

While there’s a reason why front engined Ferraris are worth loads of money.

( Don’t need the skills of Bernd Rosemayer them ).IE silly place engine layout ideally needs lots of ( superhuman ) silly place engine driving experience and skills and just creating more meddling by the DVLA let alone politicians won’t fix that.

Normally on a weekend rental package on mummies insurance [although she doesn’t know], with all the pin-heads clubbing their pocket money…babe magnet apparentlyThe people running up and taking pics on their phones - didn’t seem to be “crumpet” in that video…
Doya think he pulled any skirt from the “sympathy angle” after clouting that wall and tree?
I got the impression the whole area was a bit muslimy as well, and that might make it a “police no-go area”, meaning perhaps “no tax and insurance required for the car”. I would imagine that the insurance for a car like that, with such an accident-prone driver - is gonna cost a packet!
I was driving a truck around the park royal estate just off the A40 the other night - and there were just a few “middle eastern restaurants” in the neighborhood.
The place I ended up going - was Premier Park, a gated industrial estate off Abbey Road that just happened to have a “Supercar Repair Bay” in it as well, which made me think of this guy, apparently in tears after the incident…There was a ferarri outside with all it’s wheels off… I suppose that might be simply because it’s not so easy to nick it that way, especially inside a gated industrial estate… Maybe it was booked for an MOT the next day, with those replacement wheels required costing more than what we mere mortals pay for an entire family car.?
Those car hire companies normally are “a bit Muslimy,” there are a couple in Derby near Six Mosque Boulevard. It’s Drug and Kebab Money.

Now if people stopped buying, kebabs, chicken and burgers, I wonder what might happen.■■? And only using certain shops??
There’s a fairly new kebab house on the A2 near me, that does “non-halal” meat there. Doing a roaring trade it is, too!
