This work for both tankers and pallet distribution has for many years been undertaken by DHL,I believe the contract they have is up for renewal,does anyone know if DHL has retained the work or if not who has got this big job?

the bagged contract was up in the air since April/May & was due for renewal on New Year’s Eve, I’m told they have definitely been given the 1 year extension while re-tendering is considered, which isn’t difficult coz no one wants it. Both the Gainsborough malting and Fleming howden Newbridge (Edinburgh) sites have been sold to maru. The latter is currently a pita for me as today’s bagged delivery has been knocked back till tomorrow so both myself and another driver are languishing in the truckstop at Embra (portobello) to redeliver the loads tomorrow morning.
