Discuss, I think its an excellent idea, especially if you have been going on holiday up the A9 - but it really should be rolled out across the UK, can you just imagine the fun the English cops will have just over the boarder if it did go through ■■? but as a side thought what is the point? won’t the fuel efficent driving brigade have a winge and even if it goes through we will prob get stuck behind some poor sod who is being threatend with the sack if he goes over 40 anyway !
The a9 north of Perth is the only A road I’d say needs this, 40mph up there is dangerous and very few folk stick to it up there anyway

But I bet it’ll never happen. Bloody EU or some other irrelevant bunch of bureaucrats who don’t have a clue about road safety will probably find some way to prevent it.
up and down the A9 every night, agree this is long overdue, have even had the police sit behind me, quite a few times, at 50 mph without being pulled.
