When I take a break at Corley, it’s usually busy and a bit of a struggle to find a space, most drivers drive behind another truck, but you don’t know how long he will be there, why not reverse in? There is plenty of room to drive it out, unless someone is parked by the kerb, that really annoys me because I can’t get round the corner because you’ve parked in a place not allocated for parking
Probaly because driving in is a lot easier than backing. I normally just go towards the front row normally a space between the warebers

Thought the front row was a block booking for them
Tin hat on and hands up. I do this quite a bit. If I need a 15/30/45 then I’ll not bother looking for a space that may not even exist. I’ll just dump the truck so that people can get past and park behind me. Some might call it lazy, I’d call it being practical. I’m probably wrong though.
Same can be said of cars in car parks.
A proper driver will reverse in drive out.
But most drive in then try to struggle to reverse out. I don’t get it at all
I normally drive my car into a parking space and reverse out. The reason I do this, is because the Boot is at the back.
The Co I work for have introduced and are enforcing a reverse parking policy in the staff car park, this is apparently an employee on the other side of the world was knocked down and killed by a car reversing out of its parking space. I’ve made numerous requests seeking guidance on how I’m actually supposed to get my car into a space if we’re not allowed to reverse. All requests thus far have been met with blank and puzzled looks.
A lot of company’s now have a reverse park only in company car parks, the reason being if you drive into the car park and reverse in to the space you are aware of your surroundings. Whereas if you drive into the space, when you return you get in the car, start the engine, put the seat belt on etc etc, in all that time events in the car park have changed, other people appearing etc.
What never fails to amaze is car drivers in the morning reversing out on to a main road in the rush hour getting upset because no one lets then out. Why don’t they when they come home, reverse in to the drive, they’ve got track position then, easy to reverse in when they stop on the road and reverse, then they can much easier drive out in the morning.
