I did my last day’s driving for my employer on 29-04-2006. I have now been laid off; this was expected since the job’s seasonal.
I am now taking a break of about 5 weeks before going to another employer. Do I need to retain my last chart till then, or should I return it to my previous employer? Reason I’m asking is that I think the rules on retention have changed.
If it is about 5 weeks, 35 days, before you drive again you will not need your last chart. Under the new rules the most charts you would need to carry would be to cover 22 calendar days, all the current week plus the 15 days prior to it.
